Second, you really, really want that afterburner if you can't zip around a bit, you can't dictate range in the first place.Īlternatively, the Vexor actually does just fine with a passive shield tank. And since range is going to be a big part of your tank you don't really want to get up close and personal. Two things to note: first, railguns will generally do you better than blasters due to extreme range issues on the latter. Something like this should get the job done:ĭual 150mm Compressed Coil Gun I, Antimatter Charge M Heavy Electron Blaster I, Antimatter Charge M I personally prefer the Thorax for L2 missions, but the Vexor is a solid choice as well.

Upgrade to T2 where possible, change armor hardeners for whatever NPC you're shooting at.

If you do decide to go full drone-boat, then I would recommend a Drone Link Augmentor in a high slot to give you a better drone control range since your skills might not be high enough to let them go too far away from your ship yet. Some people say use Medium Drones for anything, but as a new player your drone tracking probably isn't fantastic and I would recommend using lights instead, for much better results. Light drones for the frigs (better tracking) and medium drones for anything bigger. You're not seeing anything bigger than a cruiser in a level 2 mission - the Vexor is a good choice. Depending on which setup you're using, a Sensor Booster wouldn't be a bad addition either.all dependent on your skill set. Or, a tracking computer if you put guns in the high slots instead of going for all-out drone warfare.

Since you're using an active tank (an armor repairer constantly running or at least the ability to constantly run) then you'll want a few Cap Rechargers in the mid slots, perhaps a drone navigation computer if you have the skill for it. Some people use the armor plates (just gives you more armor) and some people say don't use them.Įither resistance plating, armor hardeners, or membranes to increase your resistances (low slots, as mentioned above).

Gallente ships are generally armor tankers, so you want your low slots to be armor-based modules - a medium armor repairer, a damage control, resistance mods. I assume you'll be using drones in the Vexor, so for level 2's I would load up on light and medium drones in the drone bay - train up your drone skills if you want. Dont want a too expensive fitting though. How should i fit my Vexor for level 2 missions? also any skills that go good for this ship would be helpful also.
